FEMM Education and Courses

FEMM stands for Fertility Education and Medical Management. It is a natural, science-based fertility awareness method that uses cervical mucus and LH testing to help women assess their hormones and overall health, as well as their time of fertility each cycle. This information can be used for family planning purposes, in both achieving or avoiding pregnancy.

FEMM clients can begin by learning to chart their cycles through a FEMM educator. The information gathered through cycle charting can be used to help determine if a cycle is normal or if there are possible health or fertility concerns. If concerns arise, the client will be referred to a FEMM Medical Management doctor for further evaluation and care.

Courses

The information from each session is cumulative. It is recommended to take FEMM I, II, and III in order to learn all the necessary information to progress to the next session. FEMM I, II, and III classes will begin with a ~40 minute video that will be sent to you a week before our virtual meetings. These videos contain the majority of the information covered in each session. Watching the videos beforehand will allow you to rewatch or take notes as needed, and prepare any questions you may have. After you finish the video, each session will contain a one-on-one virtual meeting where I will answer any questions you have and we will go through practice exercises together.

All materials required to begin charting (paper charts, colored pencils, LH strips, etc) are included in the cost of the introductory session.
