Hard-boiled eggs the EASIEST way!

I have often heard that making hard-boiled eggs in the Instant Pot is the easiest, most-hands off way that also allows for the shells to be peeled much easier. I would agree! But- I have found a way to make it even easier and take less time.

Get your Instant Pot, and put the metal trivet at the bottom. Add 1 cup of water. Place your eggs onto the trivet. Pressure cook for 6 minutes. Let pressure naturally release, for at least 5 minutes. Just get to it when you can- I have been busy with other things and have let it sit for far longer than 5 minutes. Afterwards, take the hot eggs from the Instant Pot and put them directly into your storage container. Put them into the fridge, and you’re all set! Yep, no ice water bath!

If you really care about the texture of your HBEs, maybe this isn’t the method for you. But if you’re a busy mom like me who just wants to get it done quick with as little hands-on time as possible, this is it! After 5ish hours in the fridge, the eggs will be cold. These eggs will peel like a dream- even farm fresh eggs!
